Yakima Regional Medical and Cardiac Center offers the region’s only cardiac cath lab with open-heart surgery. Consistently ranked as a top cardiac care hospital, YRMCC performs all cardiac services with cutting edge technology. On average, cardiac patients entering the ER receive angioplasty within 60 minutes, well under the recommended time of 90 minutes. As the “door to balloon time” increases, so does the risk of irreparable damage to the heart.

A recent survey of patients visiting the Yakima Regional cath lab showed that 99 percent would return if they needed another procedure. Seventy-two percent of patients rated the care they received in the cath lab as “excellent,” and another 24 percent said it was “very good.” These results prove the quality and excellence of Yakima Regional’s cardiac care.
